teps to be followed:
1) Press "Power" and "Home" button at the same time.
(Wait to 15-30 sec)
then the android system recovery appears.
2)Choose "wipe data/factory reset" by volume buttons.
3) Select "wipe data/factory reset" by pressing "Home button".
4)Select "yes" by pressing home button
and select reboot system now by home button.
Then the process will complete and hardreset is also done.
